Bloc Party and Interpol have announced plans for a significant UK tour next year.
 
      The bands share a strong bond, having first performed together on a tour back in 2004. Since then, both Bloc Party and Interpol have taken their own distinct paths but have continued to encounter each other at various festivals around the world.
 
      Over the weekend, both bands posted similar graphics on social media, causing excitement among fans – hinting that something special might be happening… 
 
      And indeed, something special is on the horizon.
 
      Bloc Party and Interpol are set to tour next year, covering a substantial series of UK and European headline shows. The tour is an exciting prospect, kicking off with the first UK performance at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on November 20th.
 
      Following Birmingham, the tour moves to Cardiff, then two nights in Manchester, and pairs of concerts at Brighton Centre on November 26th and 27th.
 
      Next, they will visit Sheffield, followed by a special show in Dublin’s 3Arena on November 30th.
 
      The tour continues in Glasgow on December 2nd and concludes with two nights at London’s Olympia theatre on December 4th and 5th.
 
      Tickets will be available for general sale at 9 am GMT on Friday (November 7th); those who sign up for the bands’ mailing lists will have access to a pre-sale starting at 9 am GMT on Wednesday (November 5th).
