The rising partnership Witch Post has released their new single 'Twin Fawn'.
The duo – Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser – generated significant buzz with their debut EP ‘Beast’, delivering a standout performance at The Great Escape.
Since then, Witch Post has signed with Partisan Records and is wrapping up the year with a brief UK tour, including a show at London's Lexington on November 10th.
Their single ‘Twin Fawn’ is now available, fittingly timed for the post-Halloween witch season.
The lyrics play with the idea of memory, highlighting the discrepancies in how we remember; the song suggests that while memories may differ, the connection persists.
Alaska explains: “This song reflects the pursuit of memories or the longing for a misremembered, simpler past. It’s a tribute to the varied experiences Dylan and I had on the West Coast; coyotes, beach glass, late-night drives home, and staring at the sunset while stuck on the freeway… As Witch Post, our recollections become as imaginative and intertwined as twin fawns.”
