Shadows Of A Silhouette have released their impactful debut album ‘For Those That Know’ in its entirety.
The Derbyshire band has been gaining attention over the past 18 months, with Shadows Of A Silhouette performing a string of sold-out live shows. Their rising popularity is fueled by fans attracted to a sound that combines the UK edge reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys with American influences from Foo Fighters and Queens Of The Stone Age.
With catchy songwriting and sharp lyrics, Shadows Of A Silhouette aim to express their personal experiences, resonating with listeners through a relatable voice.
As Nathan from the band explains, their music draws on themes such as “working life, romantic relationships, young and unexpected fatherhood, tragedy, loss, addiction, substance abuse, and occasional periods of unemployment.”
The debut album ‘For Those That Know’ is now available, created with producer Al Groves – known for his work with Cast and Bring Me The Horizon – at the iconic Motor Museum in Liverpool.
Reece from the band adds…
“Some of the songs on this record have been around since the band’s early days in 2018, which reflects the span of our journey so far. Starting as teenagers in a garage and evolving into who we are now, you can sense and hear the growth of the band throughout this album, both musically and emotionally.”
“The narratives of our youth and the maturity and ambition gained from our shared experiences are woven throughout this record. This LP features 13 raw, honest, chaotic, and vulnerable tracks, embodying everything a debut album should encompass.”
Their latest endeavor, ‘For Those That Know,’ offers a whirlwind of indie rock energized by autobiographical insights.
