GENA (Karriem Riggins and Liv.e) Release Their First Single ‘Circlesz’

      Short for 'God Energy, Naturally Amazing'.

      Dallas-born, Los Angeles-based artist Liv.e is collaborating with acclaimed drummer and producer Karriem Riggins on a new project called GENA.

      Inspired loosely by Gina from *Martin*, the GENA project fuses the instinctive musical talents of both artists, blending their jazz-influenced styles.

      The outcome is a lively, improvisational creation that reflects Liv.e's desire to redefine R&B in her own way, paired with Karriem's expert percussion work that encompasses both jazz and beat-making alchemy.

      The two artists first connected through a shared musical friend and quickly recognized each other as kindred spirits, performing together under the enigmatic GENA name since the beginning of this year.

      Their debut single is titled ‘CIRCLESZ’, an analog track supported by the intricate layers of Liv.e’s vocals. The song explores the intoxicating bond one can form with another person and the small moments that enrich that romantic relationship.
