Celeste - Lady of Many Faces

      Celeste Waite may be on the verge of releasing her second album, but she has already experienced a career full of pinch-me moments. Rising to prominence with numerous "ones-to-watch" accolades, she topped the BBC Sound of 2020 poll and won the BRITs Rising Star award. Since then, she has been nominated for a Mercury Prize, released a Number 1 album, and even received an Academy Award nomination. The opener, ‘On With The Show’, is a lavishly constructed track that comes to life with her powerful vocals, setting the tone for an album that is unreserved in its lyrical and musical exploration. With rich string arrangements and exquisite orchestration, she navigates through themes of darkness and self-doubt, with tracks like ‘Time Will Tell’ and ‘This Is Who I Am’ breaking through as hopeful rays of light. While her debut, ‘Not Your Muse’, established her as a contemporary voice in jazz and soul, ‘Woman Of Faces’ elevates her to an entirely different, almost otherworldly realm.
