Having recently released the indie hit ‘easy come, easy go’, Lava La Rue returns with another new single titled ‘JET LAGGED’. This track features a collaboration with 2000s favorites Foster The People, delivering a vibrant and energetic dance-punk vibe. Lava describes the song as their “sonic love child”, drawing inspiration from their experiences while touring in America, where they aimed to make the most of each night despite being chronically sleep deprived. “I’d arrive in a new city and immediately stay out all night to try to combat the jet lag,” Lava shared. “The delirium from lack of sleep put me in a euphoric state that led some to think I was under the influence of something, while it was actually a joke among us that I was the most sober person acting the least sober.” Co-written with Mark Foster and Isom Innis of Foster The People, ‘JET LAGGED’ complements the rich sonic landscape of ‘STARFACE’, Lava’s debut album set to release in 2024.
