Ladytron Unveils New Album Titled ‘Paradises’

The new album ‘Paradises’ by Ladytron will be released on March 20th.

The band seems revitalized after celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2005 album ‘Witching Hour’. In collaboration with producer Daniel Hunt, Ladytron is rejuvenated, aiming to capture the spirit of their early recordings from a fresh viewpoint.

They have softly announced their comeback with the captivating single ‘I Believe In You’, followed by the art-pop gem ‘I See Red’.

‘Paradises’, their upcoming album, will be available on March 20th and can be pre-ordered through Nettwerk now.

This elaborate 16-track album was mixed by longtime collaborator Jim Abbiss, who remarked: “Hearing the demos for Paradises was truly impressive. The diverse songwriting and arrangements reminded me of Witching Hour, yet it possesses its own distinctive atmosphere, sound, and vibe.”

Vocalist and co-founder Helen Marnie shared: “It felt like coming home. We just gelled. His enthusiasm is infectious, and having that energy in the studio creates a special kind of magic.”

The new single ‘Kingdom Undersea’ offers a subtle exploration of a vivid world, with rich, underwater synths reminiscent of Drexciya but presented in a pop context.

Vocalists Helen Marnie and Daniel Hunt engage in a vocal interplay throughout the song – take a listen below.

Port Talbot's pop rebel Hannah Grae makes her return with the new single ‘bitch’.

This release signifies the dawn of a new chapter for the 23-year-old artist, marking her debut as an independent musician.

Now available, ‘bitch’ is a bold alt-pop track that fuses lively 90s influences with a catchy melody. Drawing comparisons to artists like The Cranberries and Olivia Rodrigo, the song radiates a vibrant sense of identity.

Co-written with Hunter West and produced by Dylan Bauld, ‘bitch’ showcases Hannah Grae expressing her authentic voice.

Hannah Grae shares...

Writing ‘Bitch’ represented the beginning of a new journey for me. For the first time, I could hear the artist I aspired to be. I’m dramatic, theatrical, confident, and self-critical all at once, and I had never quite managed to integrate all these aspects into my music. ‘Bitch’ was the moment it all came together. The song explores jealousy and my tendency to compare myself to those around me.

I aimed to create a song that would confront one of my significant flaws and wave it around like a big red flag. It's not glamorous to admit you dislike someone because they possess what you desire, but that doesn’t make it unworthy of being written about. This song unveiled a version of me that finally feels authentic. That’s the version you can expect to hear from now on.

Tune in now.
