      Natalie Wildgoose has released a beautiful new single titled ‘In The North’.

      The songwriter has recently partnered with state51 distribution, and earlier this week, she performed at a sold-out show at St Pancras Old Church in London.

      Having self-released her ‘Come Into The Garden’ EP this past Spring, Natalie is now prepared to embrace the upcoming winter months with assurance.

      With deep connections to North Yorkshire, she recently took her grandfather's inherited reel-to-reel recorder on a journey and found a remote rural chapel that housed an old piano in the corner.

      Seated by herself, she captured a nuanced rendition of her song ‘In The North’, which poignantly touches on themes of loss and belonging.

      This intimate, minimalist recording of ‘In The North’ creates a vivid atmosphere, making you feel as though you can sense the dust settling on the pews, with hills outside shrouded in low-hanging clouds.
