"Nothing happening next year except the WC (World Cup)."
Liam Gallagher has confirmed that Oasis will not be touring in 2026.
The band made their comeback earlier this year, launching a record-breaking reunion tour with an emotional performance in Cardiff. They captured international attention, taking the tour to North America and wrapping it up with a memorable evening in Sao Paolo.
There's plenty of speculation about what the Manchester band will do next, but it seems they are taking a break.
When asked on social media if Oasis would tour next year, Liam Gallagher replied, "We're not doing anything in 2026, sorry."
Fans speculated that Oasis might conclude their reunion next summer with a series of shows at Knebworth, reminiscent of their iconic performances in the 90s. The frontman dismissed this notion, stating, "Nothing going on next year except the WC (World Cup)."
When another fan group claimed that the band had strong odds of performing at Knebworth next year, Liam responded curtly: "ITS NOT HAPPENING."
However, the singer hinted that 2027 could be a busy year: "I don’t [have] snizzle to do until 2027. I mean, happy Christmas."
