American producer Hit-Boy experienced a break-in at his studio over the weekend – so he responded by writing a freestyle for the thieves.
As one of the prominent figures in American hip-hop, Hit-Boy has collaborated with legendary New York rapper Nas on numerous album projects. Despite his many awards, his fame also comes with certain challenges.
During the weekend, would-be robbers gained access to his studio, but fortunately, they did not take anything of significant value.
Hit-Boy had his security cameras operating throughout the incident and subsequently shared footage of the unfortunate criminals online, combined with a fresh freestyle.
“This morning at 4am, some fools broke into my office/studio and went through all that trouble for next to nothing,” he posted. “I had my Grammys there, and I know they were looking for my jewels, but not today, champions, FOH.”
The new freestyle, titled ‘Crow Bars,’ was created while he “watched the footage of these lowlifes rummaging through my stuff…”
