American artist Tyler Ballgame has released a new single titled ‘Matter Of Taste’.
The singer-songwriter's remarkable voice has led to various comparisons, with his intimate pre-Christmas performances in London generating significant buzz.
His debut album ‘For The First Time, Again’ is set to drop on January 30th through Rough Trade, and the latest sneak peek is now available.
‘Matter Of Taste’ is a rich and vibrant piece of songwriting, blending elements of Americana and bubblegum pop. It’s anchored by Tyler’s impressive vocal delivery and the emotional resonance of his work.
The lyrics – “Don’t let me go to waste / No I wasn’t worth my salt / Just a matter of taste / You don’t know me at all” – reveal a yearning for love while acknowledging that sometimes things just don’t turn out right.
Ballgame explains, “That’s not a rejection of me as a person, it’s just a matter of taste.”
