Sarah Kinsley has revealed that her upcoming EP will be titled ‘Fleeting’ and is set to release on 13th February through Verve Forecast/Fontana. The New York artist first gained attention in 2024 with her debut track ‘Escaper’, and her latest song ‘Lonely Touch’ suggests that this new project will expand on her heartfelt, emotional style with a broad, expressive synth-pop sound. As Sarah describes it, the EP represents “a promise to yearn, to long, to feel deeply and truly, despite the awareness that everything is fleeting.” She elaborates on the inspiration for ‘Lonely Touch’, which draws from the Luca Guadagnino film Queer, stating: “This song pays tribute to the vulnerability of desire, of yearning for an undeniable and frightening connection. It speaks to true intimacy: the desire to sense the depths of another’s soul and to become one together in the dark.” Additionally, Sarah has mentioned that ‘Fleeting’ will feature fellow alt-pop innovator Paris Paloma, with whom she collaborated on a track titled ‘After All’ that captures “a duet between those reflecting on why love doesn’t always rescue us.” While ‘After All’ is not released yet, stay tuned for updates… in the meantime, you can watch the video for ‘Lonely Touch’ below. The tracklist for ‘Fleeting’ is as follows: 1. Lonely Touch 2. Truth Of Pursuit 3. Reverie 4. After All (with Paris Paloma) 5. Fleeting
