Waxahatchee (also known as Katie Crutchfield) has released her first song of the year, titled ‘Mud’ — an energetic new track that originated during the sessions for her latest album, the GRAMMY-nominated ‘Tigers Blood’ set to be released in 2024. True to the album's bold Americana-indie style, this additional track delves into the complexities of a turbulent relationship, featuring the rising star MJ Lenderman (who previously collaborated with Katie on the ‘Tigers Blood’ single ‘Right Back To It’) on guitar and vocals. This release comes before her tour in Europe this summer, where she will perform in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, and London (with her largest UK headlining show at Hammersmith Apollo), in addition to performing at several festivals across mainland Europe.
