Lucy Dacus has raised the stakes with the video for her new single ‘Best Guess’, featuring a plethora of recognizable faces such as MUNA’s Naomi McPherson, model and actor Cara Delevingne, British indie rocker Towa Bird, and American actor and musician ER Fightmaster. The video presents Dacus’ sapphic take on a ’90s Calvin Klein advertisement. The cast, invited by Dacus through a social media call for “hot mascs,” vividly embodies the queer-themed romance of ‘Best Guess’, highlighting the tenderness and vulnerability that come with forming new connections. This single, following ‘Ankles’ and ‘Limerence,’ is the third to be released from Dacus’ forthcoming solo album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’ (set to be released on 28th March via Geffen Records/Polydor Label Group). Additionally, it coincides with news of her upcoming tour in the UK and Europe this summer. Tickets for all UK and EU dates will be available at 10am local time on Friday 21st February. In the meantime, you can enjoy the video for ‘Best Guess’ in its entirety here. Below is Lucy Dacus’ complete list of upcoming tour dates—she will be joined by former DIY cover artist Katie Gavin and recent Saddest Factory signing jasmine 4.t:
