William Tyler Reveals Upcoming Album ‘Time Definite’

      Three new music tracks are now available online...

      American artist William Tyler has announced the upcoming release of his album ‘Time Indefinite.’

      This will be his first solo album in six years, reflecting his recent aesthetic growth. Originating from the American Primitive genre, Tyler’s music has evolved to embrace a more avant-garde, ambient style.

      After leaving Los Angeles in early 2020, Tyler moved to Nashville, where he had spent much of his life after his family moved from Mississippi. However, the pandemic disrupted his plans and he found himself without most of his belongings, including his instruments, for extended periods.

      As a result, he was compelled to innovate in his music-making process, ultimately discovering a newfound creativity. This led to a collaborative 12-inch project with UK producer Four Tet, an experience that influenced his solo endeavors.

      Scheduled for release on April 25th, 'Time Indefinite' features three exploratory tracks that blend ambient elements with diverse textures and emotions.

      The tracks ‘Cabin Six’, ‘Concern’, and ‘Star Of Hope’ are currently available, accompanied by short films made entirely from Tyler’s family home videos.
