CLASH to Organize SXSW London Stage

CLASH is excited to announce that it will be curating a stage at SXSW London.

This upcoming festival marks SXSW's inaugural event in London, taking place at venues throughout Shoreditch. Similar to the festivities in Austin, Texas, the UK edition will showcase British artists while also embracing a global outlook.

CLASH will be involved at every level, curating a stage for the festival – stay tuned for further details.

SXSW London has recently unveiled its first wave of speakers, highlighting the diverse and varied nature of the overall lineup. Among the speakers are UK actor and avid music enthusiast Idris Elba, American icon Wyclef Jean, and comedian Katherine Ryan, among others.

Deepak Chopra will also be part of SXSW London, joined by Jessica Sibley from TIME, with additional speakers to be announced in the upcoming weeks.

Max Alexander, CEO of SXSW London, stated regarding the headline speakers: “The individuals we’re announcing today represent the innovative ideas, creative spirit, and collaborative ethos that SXSW London will introduce to Europe for the first time. From transforming industries to highlighting exciting music scenes, this is just the start of what is expected to be an unforgettable celebration of global creativity.”

On the music side, Nigerian superstar Tems has confirmed a special performance as part of SXSW London. Scheduled for June 5th at the Troxy, this follows a remarkable year for the singer, who received critical acclaim for her album ‘Born In The Wild’.

Tickets for Tems' show will be available soon.

Additionally, organizers have shared some details about the Screen Festival at SXSW London. The festival will feature a lineup of feature films, shorts, music videos, along with a curated collection of immersive works.

Among these, the festival will showcase the first UK film retrospective of Grammy Award-winning artist and filmmaker Jenn Nkiru, which will include the London premiere of her latest project, The Great North, co-produced by Factory International and MOTHERSHIP.

SXSW London will take place from June 2nd to 7th.
