Olivia Dean has released another enchanting new single, specifically written for everyone’s beloved (sort of) single, Bridget Jones. Titled ‘It Isn’t Perfect But It Might Be’, this track is a smoothly romantic yet refreshingly honest love ballad created by Olivia as the credit song for Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, the latest chapter in the cherished film series, featuring Renée Zellweger’s iconic character. “I’ve always adored the Bridget Jones movies; they’re timeless classics,” Olivia expressed. “After watching Mad About The Boy, I felt deeply moved by Bridget’s journey throughout the years. ‘It Isn’t Perfect But It Might Be’ is about allowing yourself to love again after experiencing loss, and having faith that things may turn out well, even if it’s not exactly as you had envisioned. This is my first experience being part of something like this, and I’m excited for its release!” After sharing the standalone track ‘Time’ last year, which followed her Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut album ‘Messy’, Olivia’s fans are eagerly anticipating more new music.
