Trinkets Radiate on Fresh Gem ‘End Is Near’

      Dublin's five-member band Trinkets shines with their new single, ‘End Is Near.’

      The band gained recognition in their hometown with a series of singles in 2023, including the impressive duo ‘Lucy’ and ‘Blue.’ Since then, they've been somewhat subdued – engaging in writing sessions and a few local performances as they regroup.

      Now ready to step back into the spotlight, their latest release, ‘End Is Near,’ is arguably Trinkets' strongest offering to date – a superb example of melodic indie, with shimmering guitars that evoke a pop-centered Slowdive.

      Elements of The Cure’s gothic charm are apparent, and ‘End Is Near’ also draws comparisons to Daughter for its haunting radiance.

      This is a remarkable piece of songwriting that deserves broader recognition – we eagerly anticipate some UK tour dates.
