"You can’t handle the pressure / Of dating someone like me..."
Flowerovlove shines brightly with her cheeky new single ‘I’ve seen ur ex.’
Released just in time for Valentine’s Day, the track marks her entry into 2025. Following the viral hit ‘breaking news’ that boosted her confidence, Flowerovlove introduces fresh material that plays with contrasts.
‘I’ve seen ur ex’ serves as a youthful take on alt-pop, striking a balance between flirtation and sharpness in its delivery.
Over vibrant electronic beats, she sings: “You’d drag a body for me / Quit your job for me / Babe / Go back to your ex / You can’t handle the pressure / Of dating someone like me…”
This track reflects her newfound confidence, crafted in Los Angeles with producers Justin Tranter (known for work with Zara Larsson and Billy Porter), Russ Chell (who has collaborated with Juice WRLD and Tate McRae), and Ryland Blackinton (of Chromeo and Boys Like Girls).
Flowerovlove describes the single as “inspired by emotions of jealousy and insecurities hidden beneath a confident facade…”
