Little Simz reveals details about her upcoming sixth album titled ‘Lotus’.

Little Simz is officially back, confirming that her sixth studio album 'Lotus' will be released on 9th May through AWAL Recordings. Additionally, she has celebrated this announcement by collaborating with her longtime partner Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly for a new single. This album serves as a proper follow-up to her surprise 2022 release 'NO THANK YOU' (along with last year's 'Drop 7' EP), and is anticipated to showcase Simz's impressive artistic growth, with its title symbolizing the renewal and development represented by the lotus flower. Over the past decade, she has established herself as a groundbreaking rapper, earning prestigious accolades such as the Mercury Prize, Brit Awards, MOBO Awards, and an Ivor Novello Award. Recently, she has been hinting at her upcoming new era, sharing on Instagram that the visuals for her new track 'Flood' express her "artistry in the truest form." You can listen to her powerful latest track and view its evocative video directed by Salomon Ligthelm below.
