Indie favorite Matt Maltese has announced that his sixth album, 'Hers', will be released this Spring and has also unveiled a new track titled 'Always Some MF'—the second single from the album. Set to be available on May 16th through The Orchard, 'Hers' was hinted at last month with the release of 'Anytime, Anyplace, Anyhow', and is expected to be Matt’s most personal and heartfelt work to date. “I've created a lot of music inspired by infatuation, but this album was crafted while reflecting on a much deeper, long-term love,” he shared, discussing the emotions and experiences that shaped 'Hers'. “It touches on the complexities and beautiful paths that come with it, as well as the more profound heartaches that arise. I had the chance to truly reflect and pour my heart into it… It’s akin to spending a year composing a crucial email.” The latest release, 'Always Some MF', embodies these reflections, featuring a melodic quality that highlights Matt’s signature vocal style as he navigates the challenges of romantic jealousy. You’ll be able to view the captivating video for the track at 5 PM; in the meantime, here’s the complete tracklist for 'Hers':
