Mikano Unveils Fresh Visuals for ‘Triple 7’

Mikano Unveils Fresh Visuals for ‘Triple 7’

Mikano, the emerging Parisian rapper you should already be familiar with, has released a new single and music video titled “Triple 7.” This compelling track encourages profound contemplation on choices and destiny. Combining introspection with spirituality, the artist explores what truly motivates us: fear or love?

“Don’t get along with the 666, still triple 7 is fine.”

Backed by a captivating production featuring guitar, piano, and deep percussion (from Sutus, Ian Andria, Basile Peter, and Tim Adamiec), Mikano’s song transcends genres, serving as a mantra for self-confidence and growth. You can find the single HERE.

The music video, directed by Muziflow, visually represents this internal journey through contrasting imagery: sharing joyous moments with friends on the open road, symbolizing fate and progress, juxtaposed with scenes of solitude in an empty room among boxes, only to later be joined by loved ones. It offers a raw and intimate glimpse into his emotions and reflections.

Since the launch of his EP “AKWA II” in November 2022, Mikano has been actively experimenting in the studio to create innovative sounds. His unique blend of genres has allowed him to feel more liberated and independent in his artistic process, with “Overthinking” released last year standing as a testament to this evolution alongside “Triple 7.”

Mikano is a Paris-based rapper who has consistently impressed since his first EP, Blind Man Dreams, released in 2018. He brings energy, sensitivity, and a mix of influences to his work. His richly visual lyrics and distinct rhythmic style document his personal growth across various places—France, Cameroon, Abu Dhabi, and Egypt where he was raised, as well as a burgeoning creative connection with South Korea.

Navigating the intersection of genres, Mikano continually seeks to push new sonic and visual boundaries. Each of his music videos is designed as an artistic experience or cinematic work, and with every new musical release, he showcases immense maturity and skill.

Since the debut of his AKWA series in 2022—named in honor of the Douala neighborhood in Cameroon from which he hails—he has evolved freely to achieve a purer form of creation. His music becomes a personal introspective journey, a true reflection of his feelings, and a synthesis of his experiences, relationships, and identity.
