The viral Danish juice bar phenomenon, Joe & The Juice, has officially opened in Manchester, inspired by local rap artist Aitch. After reaching out to the brand through Instagram to express his wish for a store in his hometown, Aitch's request has been fulfilled, making Manchester home to the largest UK location to date.
The new flagship store, set to open this Saturday, March 15th, is situated in the vibrant retail district at 5 Cross Street. Covering an expansive 2,700 square feet, it ranks among the largest locations globally. Designed with the brand’s distinct Scandinavian style, the venue boasts stylish interiors, an open layout, and a lively social atmosphere. True to its fun spirit, the store features a hand-painted mural that represents Manchester, promising an experience as dynamic as the city itself.
Aitch, hailing from Moston, Manchester, has not only brought attention to the North West city with his chart-topping hits but has also generated buzz on social media by directly messaging the juice bar on Instagram, requesting a branch in his native city. His affection for the brand is evident on his social media, where he has been seen enjoying a sandwich and even dancing with one in his living room.
Joe & The Juice is honoring Aitch by displaying the actual Instagram DM that inspired the store's opening on a billboard in Manchester. This fun exchange is highlighted on the billboard, commemorating the moment that prompted the launch of the new location.
Renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, popular social media presence, and healthy selection of juices, shakes, sandwiches, and coffee, the brand has captured the interest of a generation seeking flavorful and refreshing experiences. With items like the signature Pink Latte and the TikTok-sensation Tunacado, it has become a favorite spot for those wanting a health-conscious yet stylish place to recharge.
"We’ve seen a significant demand for Joe & The Juice in Manchester, and when Aitch reached out, it was the ideal opportunity to make it happen," remarked Lauritz Bolton, Managing Director UK. "Manchester was the most requested city worldwide; we received numerous DMs asking us to open here. The city embodies energy, creativity, and culture—qualities we share—making it the perfect location for our largest UK store to date."
The Manchester flagship continues the chain’s impressive global journey, having built a devoted following since its inception in Copenhagen in 2002. With establishments in major cities around the world, including New York and London, the new Manchester outlet will offer the complete menu, focusing on fresh, custom-made juices, coffee, and sandwiches, along with the signature high-energy vibe that fans adore.
