The new album 'Different' has just been released...
Barry Can’t Swim is set to launch his latest album 'Loner' on July 11th.
He teased his return with the track ‘The Person You’d Like To Be’, a reflective piece featuring distorted spoken word vocals. This summer, he will headline the All Points East Festival alongside Lost Village and Forward, and he has completed work on his second album.
The upcoming LP ‘Loner’ will contain 12 tracks, featuring collaborations with fellow electronic artist O’Flynn and spoken word performer Seamus.
Scheduled for release on July 12th, the album follows his highly successful debut ‘When Will We Land?’, which earned a BRIT nomination and a spot on the Mercury Prize shortlist. The producer remarks…
“If my first album was a collage of the music that inspired me throughout my upbringing, then this album is the truest reflection of myself and my experiences over the past year…”
The new single ‘Different’ is available now – a dynamic, energizing electronic track that you can listen to below.
