There’s an exhilarating, tangible connection between Clairo and her audience. The American singer has returned, and London’s Eventim Apollo is filled to capacity well before the show starts – the line for the merchandise stall is significant, and everyone around us is buzzing with excitement, their smiles bright in anticipation of the performance.
We've come a long way from her online beginnings. When ‘Pretty Girl’ surged in popularity back in 2017, there was a belief from some that Clairo might fade away – yet the reality has been quite the opposite. Now taking the album on tour, Clairo is in exceptional form. The band is finely tuned, and the singer appears to cherish every moment on stage – inspired by the audience before her, she shines brightly during this spectacular performance.
