‘Neighbours’ tells the story of a man living alone who believes that a group of mischievous entities inhabit his apartment, intentionally causing him distress by turning off the heating in winter or cranking it up when he's too warm, as well as making noise in the kitchen when he's trying to sleep. As he spirals into paranoia and psychological unrest, he resolves to eliminate them by leaving the oven on and letting gas fill the apartment overnight.
