The London grime-punk duo Bob Vylan have been announced as one of the headliners for this year's Brighten The Corners festival. They will join Dry Cleaning, who was previously confirmed as a headliner, at the Ipswich event scheduled for June 13th and 14th. The former DIY cover stars are not the only new acts announced for the festival. Today (March 19, 2025), organizers revealed that HotWax, who recently released their debut album 'Hot Shock,' and Ivor Novello Rising Star winner Master Peace will also be featured this summer, along with a lineup of exciting new and emerging artists such as Disgusting Sisters, The Pill, Westside Cowboy, and Mandrake Handshake. They are set to perform at the multi-venue event alongside names like Lime Garden, DEADLETTER, and Gruff Rhys, who were announced last month. Discussing the latest additions to the lineup, the festival's programmer Marcus Neal stated, “We are excited to announce the second wave of artists for our 2025 festival, including our second headliners Bob Vylan, who we believe will bring the Corn Exchange to life with their infectious energy this summer. Throughout the program, we continue to present a wide and diverse array of performers in Ipswich, from OneDa’s Mancunian hip-hop to Welsh language indie-pop from Adwaith, as well as the mesmerizing psychedelia of Mandrake Handshake and SILVERWINGKILLER’s dystopian breakbeats."
