Låpsley has recently revealed details about her upcoming fourth album titled ‘I’M A HURRICANE I’M A WOMAN IN LOVE’, which is set to release on May 2nd. She has now unveiled the opening track and semi-title song, ‘HURRICANE’. The Southport artist describes this unabashedly romantic piece as "an unapologetic expression of love from a woman." She explains further: “a powerful, unrestrained love. A love that is both feared and celebrated. Establish your presence firmly. Love that is reciprocal. Love driven by free will. Love as a form of protest. Love amidst chaos. Love in tranquility. A wild, misunderstood enchantment.” ‘HURRICANE’ follows ‘BETTER’ and ‘CHURCH’ as the third single from her upcoming LP, which is her first project as an entirely independent artist and serves as a follow-up to her 2023 release, ‘Cautionary Tales Of Youth’.
