Ezra Furman has unveiled a second preview of her upcoming album 'Goodbye Small Head' with the release of the intense new track 'Jump Out'. This song, characterized by its raw and rough sound, features increasingly frenetic strings. Ezra describes 'Jump Out' as “a panicked rocker for that moment when you realize you are going to have to leap from a moving vehicle, because the driver has no intention of letting you out.” Following the February release of the single 'Grand Mal', 'Goodbye Small Head' is set to be released on May 16 through Bella Union and will mark Ezra's tenth album, succeeding 2022's 'All Of Us Flames'. In her own biographical notes, Ezra has remarked about the LP: “Is it dark? Yeah! Is it also wonder-struck, laced with psychedelic beauty, triumphantly wounded? Yeah again. And by the end of it, the whole thing flames out in a burst of classic rock and roll, with a desperate cover of the under-appreciated genius Alex Walton’s endlessly yearning ‘I Need the Angel’. Check out the video for 'Jump Out' below. Additionally, Ezra will be embarking on an extensive tour this Spring, performing across the UK and North America.
