Self Esteem Releases New Single 'If Not Now, It’s Soon'

      Self Esteem makes a striking return with her new single ‘If Not Now, It’s Soon’.

      The Mercury Prize-nominated songwriter’s upcoming album, ‘A Complicated Woman’, is set to be released on April 25th, accompanied by a unique London residency to celebrate the launch.

      Looking ahead, this Autumn will see her embark on her largest UK tour to date, which includes two performances at Glasgow’s renowned Barrowland Ballroom and two nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

      The new single ‘If Not Now, It’s Soon’ is available now, marking a strong comeback that highlights Self Esteem’s ability to convey a story in just a few lines. Centered around her commanding vocals – “You ponder who was responsible for the decisions in that town…” – Self Esteem is joined by actress and friend Julie Hesmondhalgh for a powerful rallying cry: “Something will happen because it must – we need not only perseverance but also patience.”

      Self Esteem shares her thoughts…

      “On a personal level, you need to be patient, and one day you’ll reach a place with less pain. But I also hope the world finds its way to a place that is less painful. It’s all about hope, perseverance, and patience!”
