Scandipop veteran MØ is back with a new preview of her forthcoming fourth album, 'Plæygirl', having released an energetic electronic track titled 'Keep Møving'. Scheduled for release on May 16 via RCA/Sony, this album is the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Motordrome’, which was officially introduced in January with the collaboration ‘Sweet’ featuring Biig Piig. This latest single showcases MØ's club-kid flair, as she collaborates with producers Nick Sylvester, Elliott Kozel (Yves Tumor), and The Dare (Charli XCX, Billie Eilish) to bring the lively beat of 'Keep Møving' to life. She shared that the song provides “an ironic take on my endless to-do list,” discussing its thematic inspirations. “It reflects the feeling of unraveling under the burden of everyone’s expectations (including my own) while also secretly wishing for freedom from this constantly changing, utterly wild Western world. I have never had as much fun recording ad-libs as I did yelling 'BUAH!' in the chorus – it's definitely my favorite ad-lib ever. The lyrics stem from genuine frustration, but writing and performing this track is also healing for me.” You can check out our recent interview with MØ, where she discusses her eagerly awaited comeback, and listen to 'Keep Møving' below.
