Naomi Sharon Makes a Comeback with New Song ‘Can We Do This Over’

On March 27, 2025, Dutch-Caribbean artist Naomi Sharon has unveiled a new single titled 'Can We Do This Over.'

Collaborating with Justin Tranter (known for his work with Selena Gomez, Chappell Roan, and Lady Gaga), Naomi’s ethereal falsetto envelops a slow-groove instrumental—an homage to a previous romance that embodies both sadness and resilience.

This track serves as the first preview of an upcoming EP set for release in May, with a second teaser anticipated in mid-April, coinciding with Naomi's performance at London’s Cross the Tracks on May 25th.

Regarding the new song and the broader EP, which is rooted in a sense of optimism, Naomi shares:

“I want listeners to be engaged in the narrative. When I played the song for friends and family, they frequently remarked, ‘it’s emotional, but it also holds strength.’ That’s precisely the message I aimed to communicate. The EP is both emotional and personal, yet it embodies a positive outlook. It’s not solely about reflecting on the past but also about progressing with a fresh perspective. I believe this single establishes the tone for the entire EP—hope. ‘Obsidian’ conveyed a similar theme, but with a darker undertone.”

Naomi Sharon launched her debut album ‘Obsidian‘ via OVO Sound, blending airy RnB, Afrobeats, and Amapiano rhythms. She has collaborated with artists such as DJ Snake, Omah Lay, Amaarae, and Majid Jordan.
