thistle. has released their new single ‘it’s nice to see you, stranger’.
Originating from Northampton, the band began their early practice sessions in a garage. Demonstrating a commendable DIY spirit, thistle. quickly established their sound by reworking gritty and worn aspects of grunge from a fresh perspective.
Their latest single ‘it’s nice to see you, stranger’ flows like a thick sludge from your speakers, showcasing the band's strengths. With a more stripped-down approach, it evokes a live concert atmosphere, allowing thistle. to let the intensity peak.
The songwriting also features a pop element, reflecting a sincere love for melody that makes thistle. subtly powerful.
Recently signed to Venn Records, which also houses Bob Vylan and others, ‘it’s nice to see you, stranger’ is now available.
