Hotline TNT Reveals Upcoming Album ‘Raspberry Moon’

Hotline TNT has announced their upcoming album titled ‘Raspberry Moon.’

The band from New York is leading a new wave of American shoegaze, fusing noise rock elements with dreamy pop melodies to create something that feels raw yet melodically striking.

Signed by Third Man, the new album ‘Raspberry Moon’ was developed during sessions involving the band, fronted by Will Anderson, and DIY artist Amos Pitsch (Tenement).

While maintaining their gritty sound, Hotline TNT has incorporated new elements of straightforwardness, stating:

“In a landscape filled with half-baked hooks and muffled vocals, we found the bravery to do what others in the shoegaze scene couldn't... We looked out to the stadium and assured the crowd: Our voices together will resonate. You’ve never experienced a TNT chorus this direct – during the writing process, the ‘try not to sing along challenge’ yielded a 100% failure rate.”

The album features the leading single ‘Julia’s War,’ characterized by its distorted intensity and a 90s-inspired chorus. A thrilling and ambitious comeback, ‘Julia’s War’ showcases the band's strengths.

Accompanied by a music video directed by Johnny Frohman, Will Anderson shares…

“When the time came to create the music video, Johnny Frohman established a Full-Metal-Jacket-style shoegaze bootcamp… It’s not about the Marine Corps; it’s the Slow Corps. Edy Monica, Dan Licata, Peter Mills Weiss, and a supporting cast from NYC's comedy underground completed the platoon and brought us into a world where we could participate in a rigorous routine of pedalboard assembly and underwater vocal training.”

‘Raspberry Moon’ is set to be released on June 20th; pre-order it online now.
