Black Honey will be launching their new album ‘Soak’ on August 15th.

The UK indie band returns, redefining their creativity with their fourth studio album. ‘Soak’ is their first release since the 2023 album ‘A Fistful of Peaches’, showcasing the band's return to experimenting with sound.

Captivated by cinema, the upcoming LP seeks to evoke the unsettling ambiance of Stanley Kubrick, with main songwriter Izzy B. Phillips reflecting on a decade-long journey in the music industry.

Their new single ‘Dead’ marks the beginning of this journey, presenting a disturbing image of body horror – “And you couldn’t decide to stab my back or my eyes / Oh no, I know what you like / Just press on the knife” – signaling a powerful comeback.

      Izzy shares…

‘Soak’ represents my reflections on a decade of touring and creating music and art while grappling with addiction. It’s about peeling back the layers of the messy, romantic, confusing, disoriented, beautiful, and chaotic experiences. The person I believed I was, who I was meant to be, and the person I see now are all vastly different, but I’m embracing it.
