Fontaines D.C. Release Deluxe Edition of ‘Romance’

      16 · 04 · 2025

Irish band Fontaines D.C. has released the deluxe edition of ‘Romance.’

The album was launched last year, marking a remarkable achievement for Fontaines D.C. ‘Romance’ was their first project with the UK label XL Recordings and featured collaboration with producer James Ford.

After concluding 2024 with two performances at London’s Alexandra Palace and a landmark arena concert in Dublin, Fontaines D.C. welcomed the New Year with the single ‘It’s Amazing To Be Young.’

As they gear up for their monumental performance at Finsbury Park in North London, Fontaines D.C. has unveiled the Deluxe Edition of ‘Romance,’ which includes new tracks.

Listeners can enjoy a live, stripped-down version of the instantly recognizable single ‘Starburster,’ combined with David Lynch’s ‘In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song),’ originally from the soundtrack of Lynch’s 1977 film, Eraserhead.

Regarding the new music, Conor Culrey states…

‘Before You I Just Forget’ began with a vision of an expansive sound that evolved with new nuances becoming noticeable each time it’s played. Much like how one can never step in the same river twice, the song transforms and concludes with a stunning string arrangement by Grian.
