Orla Gartland has unveiled a surprise new song titled ‘Now What?’. The Dublin singer-songwriter premiered the single as a Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, announcing that it will be part of the upcoming expanded edition of her second album, ‘Everybody Needs A Hero’. “I began this year with a strong sense that I had more to express,” Gartland commented on the new release. “Last year brought significant changes in my life; I felt more unsteady and introspective than ever before in my adult life. ‘Now What?’ delves into the vast uncertainty we encounter after a breakup and how our emotions evolve over time,” she shared. ‘Everybody Needs A Hero’ was launched last October under her own label, New Friends. The album includes some of her most cherished songs such as ‘Little Chaos’, ‘Late To The Party feat. Declan McKenna’, and ‘Backseat Driver’. The new track arrives just before the artist kicks off a summer filled with live performances, including a set at the Glastonbury festival and a supporting tour with Glass Animals across North America.
