Natalie Bergman Reveals Upcoming Album 'My Home Is Not In This World'

Natalie Bergman has announced her upcoming album titled ‘My Home Is Not In This World’.

The songwriter has completed recording her third studio album, which took place in the California desert. The sessions, which utilized analog-to-tape techniques, were guided by her brother and longtime collaborator, Elliot Bergman.

This album features dusty country-soul sounds that blend opaque Americana with vintage Motown, and it is set to be released on July 18th via Third Man Records.

“The title reflects my yearning for a place over there,” Natalie explains. “It symbolizes my wish to disconnect from the digital age. I aimed to be the opposite of much contemporary music. There are earthy tones, and many of the tracks revolve around love. Simultaneously, it’s about discovering my place on this planet—even though I have never genuinely felt I belonged here.”

The new single ‘Gunslinger’ has a transporting essence—evoking the vibe of late 60s Dusty Springfield, with its charming pop elements matching the vintage production style.

The music video, directed by Andreas Ekelund, features American author, filmmaker, and musician Ian Svenonius—check it out now.
