Following an incredible year of ‘Sessions’—the intimate acoustic series that has solidified its place in London’s underground scene—Bread and Butter is raising the bar with the Shutter Sessions all-day Festival, curated and hosted alongside emerging talent Virtuo.

This intimate music festival will take over their East London studio, featuring some of the most thrilling emerging talents in the industry. From 12 PM to 12 AM, this extended edition promises to be more than just a concert—it’s a movement. Over the last year, Shutter Sessions has evolved into a hub for discovery, promoting grassroots talent and fostering an authentic community through acoustic performances and open mic cyphers.

The all-day celebration expands on this concept with over 30 artists and DJs performing throughout the day and night, ranging from eager grassroots talent to more recognized rising stars. The sole requirement is that they are all pursuing a career in music.

Virtuo stated, “We aim to showcase artists that we truly believe in and who deserve a larger platform to share their voices, irrespective of their current journey. We’ve created a space where individuals can express their true selves—no gimmicks, no inflated egos. Just sound, soul, and community.”

“Our goal is to provide a platform for creatives across all genres. Everyone has aspirations, and the arts and media fields are challenging to enter. We received substantial support on our path to where we are now, so we want to give back and promote as much talent as we can,” shares Ben from Bread and Butter.

The event will feature KeepVibesNear, who will bring his undeniable energy to the stage. Additionally, as night falls, there’s a secret headliner lined up to energize the audience—you won't want to miss it. This event is entirely free and operates on an RSVP basis to enhance visibility and reinforce their community spirit, ensuring the day remains as inclusive as possible.

Clash Magazine is supporting this movement by highlighting the artists and initiatives involved. Catering will be provided by Bread and Butter, teaming up with creative community and supper club ‘Tros’, who will be offering food throughout the day.

Our spaces have transformed into a hub for collaboration and expression across all art forms. For this event, we will convert our photography studio into a performance venue, complete with cinematic visuals and an iconic hanging microphone setup, all documented to continue supporting the artists beyond the event. There will be multiple videographers and photographers present to capture the magic.

This is your invitation to join a unique gathering where ambition meets authenticity, and every performance matters.
