The up-and-coming pop quintet Absnt Mind has released their latest single, ‘Wardrobe.’
They draw from the rich tradition of British boy bands while infusing a modern, Gen Z twist. Growing their fanbase organically, Absnt Mind has already gathered a substantial following, with new fans joining daily.
Now available, ‘Wardrobe’ highlights their collective creativity. The five members collaborate in a shared house in North London, making use of a home studio.
Combining elements of digi-pop with R&B influences, ‘Wardrobe’ allows each member to shine individually, while still feeling like an intricately layered pop track.
Scheduled to perform on the main stage at Brighton Pride, Absnt Mind – consisting of Alex, Ashton, Conor, Freddie, and Oscar – filmed the music video themselves using an old VHS camera during their recent trip to the United States.

Inspired by Sabrina’s Bed Chem, the idea struck me while traveling home from an Amie Blu concert with a dead phone, leaving me to people-watch on the Piccadilly line. A girl boarded wearing the most stylish jumper, which sparked the notion of your clothes continuing to live on with someone you’ve moved on from – it’s bittersweet to realize you’ve influenced their style, but it’s now for someone new.”
