Following the successful launch of his debut album in 2025, Antony Szmierek has announced that his first book, titled Roadmap, will be released this Spring, published by Faber Music. The Manchester-based poet, producer, and performer will debut the book at the Hay Festival next month, featuring a music performance on May 24th and a conversation with fellow poet Len Pennie on May 25th, before Roadmap hits the shelves on May 29th. This book will serve as a visual counterpart to Antony’s debut LP, ‘Service Station At The End Of The Universe,’ including the album's lyrics, an ‘exploded view’ of the tracks, alongside exclusive poems, stories, and sketches. Antony describes his work, saying, “I’m not being ironic, using a persona or wearing a mask; my music is simply me expressing myself authentically. There’s nothing to hide behind. It’s sincerity on overdrive – a space for people to connect with each other." You can explore the intergalactic realm of ‘Service Station...' through our recent interview with Antony below.
