The Toronto punk band PUP has unveiled their final single, "Olive Garden," from their upcoming album "Who Will Look After The Dogs?" set to drop this Friday (2 May). This new track follows earlier releases "Hallways," "Paranoid," and "Get Dumber" from the eagerly awaited album. Comprised of Stefan Babcock, Nestor Chumak, Zack Mykula, and Steve Sladkowski, the band has shared this last teaser, "Olive Garden," right before the release. Originally an acoustic demo, the song has evolved into one of the heaviest tracks on the album. Babcock described the song as “very stupid, but also wonderful.” He credited the band for transforming it into something truly special, mentioning that Zack, the drummer, suggested making it as heavy as possible after hearing the cute acoustic demo. “That’s a pretty annoying suggestion,” he shared, “but I’m glad I kept my mouth shut because it actually worked.” He went on to say, “There’s real magic in how these sweet vocal melodies clash with a wall of filthy, grinding, detuned guitars. The whole song is somewhat unsettling and uncomfortable yet catchy and fun. And no matter what anyone says, ‘Olive Garden’ rhymes with ‘Grandma in a coffin’ – listen to it and tell me I’m wrong.” The album "Who Will Look After The Dogs?" will be available this Friday, 2nd May.
