King Isis has announced the release of her new EP titled ‘Sirenity’.
The artist draws inspiration from various elements of alt-soul and rock, creating a distinctive pop blend. The new EP ‘Sirenity’ is set to be released on June 13th, following last year's viral genre-blending track ‘shed’.
This summer, ‘Sirenity’ aims to capture the constantly changing dynamics of their emotional life.
“It’s primarily a lighthearted, at times self-mocking exploration of various aspects of myself,” Isis explains. “It’s a tribute to my younger selves, recognizing continual growth and transformation, and acknowledging that life has its ups and downs.”
The new single ‘Permanently Broken’ is available now, offering a burst of pop energy that reflects King Isis' inner world. “This track symbolizes my tendencies to overthink, feelings of imposter syndrome and serves as a tribute to my anxieties,” they describe. “It's kind of a ‘let’s just go for it’ moment, embracing the journey without the need for perfection after chasing it for so long.”
