Having recently launched their headline UK tour with two electrifying performances at London’s renowned Brixton Academy, as well as an appearance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool, Wet Leg has now released ‘CPR’, our second preview of their upcoming sophomore album ‘moisturizer’, set to be released on 11th July. This follows April’s release of ‘catch these fists’ and is described in press materials as “one of the many love songs” that will appear on their next LP. ‘CPR’ is unmistakably a love song, showcasing Wet Leg's classic style, featuring powerful riffs, clever lyrics, and a deadpan vocal style: “Is it love, or suicide?” The follow-up to their hit 2022 self-titled debut, ‘moisturizer’ will see the previously DIY duo of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers evolve into a full-fledged band, promising to make their unique sound even punchier and more provocative than before. You can watch the band-directed video for ‘CPR’, where they perform during a drive around their Isle of Wight home, below. Additionally, Wet Leg has announced UK shows to celebrate ‘moisturizer’s release, alongside an October European tour. Here’s their full and extensive upcoming live schedule:
