EFG London Jazz Festival 2025: Major Line-Up Expansion

      The lineup for the EFG London Jazz Festival 2025 has received another significant addition.

      The multi-venue festival is set to return later this year, taking place from November 14th to 23rd. Featuring jazz and various forms of creatively independent music, the lineup for the EFG London Jazz Festival spans multiple genres.

      This year's 2025 Artist in Residence at the Barbican will be Aja Monet, who will have a constant presence throughout the festival – she is scheduled to perform a headline show at the Barbican on November 14th.

      In addition, Chicago post-rock legends Tortoise will make a rare appearance in London on November 22nd at the Barbican; also performing at the Barbican will be the final UK show by renowned Brazilian composer and multi-instrumentalist Hermeto Pascoal on November 16th.

      Saxophonist and bandleader Jasmine Myra is set to perform at Hackney Church on November 18th, while the Bill Frisell Trio, featuring bassist Thomas Morgan and drummer Rudy Royston, will take the stage at Cadogan Hall on November 21st.

      Additionally, the talented Emma-Jean Thackray will showcase her creatively vibrant album 'Weirdo' at KOKO on November 20th.

      The festival will conclude on November 23rd – catch Nigeria's own Adekunle Gold at the Royal Festival Hall, while the Barbican will host a celebration of Japanese jazz, featuring Kosuke Mine (tenor sax), Fumio Itabashi (piano), Takeo Moriyama (drums), Takashi Sugawa (bass), and Miyuki Moriya (alto sax).

      EFG London Jazz Festival will take place from November 14th – 23rd.
