Dev Hynes has announced a new Blood Orange single titled ‘The Field’.

The British songwriter, now residing in America, has been concentrating on his collaborative projects recently.

Blood Orange, the highly acclaimed project by the artist, has been relatively inactive since 2022, but his close friend Charli XCX hinted that something was in the works.

Recent updates have come to light. According to Pigeons & Planes, Blood Orange is set to release the new single ‘The Field’ on June 26th.

The song features the iconic Manchester band The Durutti Column – likely in the form of a sample – along with contributions from Caroline Polachek, Daniel Caesar, and Baltimore composer Tariq Al-Sabir.

Exciting times ahead. ‘The Field’ will be launched on June 26th.
