A new wave of musical talent is set to revolutionize your social feed experience.

WeAre8, the social media platform dedicated to providing social and economic freedom for artists globally, announces 8fest—a worldwide, three-day virtual festival scheduled for July 11-13, 2025. This event, curated by industry influencers, aims to promote emerging artists on a global platform.

Download WeAre8 for free on the App Store HERE or Google Store HERE for an exclusive preview into Clash’s world.

In collaboration with Gotobeat and Nordoff & Robbins, WeAre8 encourages music lovers, artists, and innovators to explore a bold new realm of social music experiences that redefine the social feed.

The daily lineups will be thoughtfully selected by prominent industry figures, including:

      - Robin Murray, Editor-In-Chief of CLASH Magazine

      - Gus Unger-Hamilton, Keyboardist/Vocalist for alt-J

      - TK, Co-founder & Director at the record label Finesse Foreva

Together, we aim to curate a lineup that showcases the stars of tomorrow directly to users’ 8 feed, featuring exclusive music releases, live performance content, and unfiltered energy that rises above the clutter.

      What Sets 8fest Apart?

There are no stages or ticket barriers—just pure music discovery through a connected social feed.

Promoting discovery—By removing controlling algorithms, every post allows people to be discovered with links back to their Spotify and their songs.

A platform that gives back: Artists are acknowledged, heard, and supported. Users are economically rewarded for their time spent watching ads. Charity partners, like Nordoff & Robbins, also gain support.

Artists can upload their music directly onto WeAre8 for a chance to be featured during the festival. Fans can engage, follow the curators, and uncover new talent—free from the controlling algorithms typical of traditional social platforms.

With significant backing from Clash Magazine, FAC, The Independent, and others, 8fest is reshaping the concept of music festivals for the digital era. WeAre8 is not just altering how music is shared; it is transforming how musicians are discovered.

WeAre8 founder and Clash columnist Zoe Kalar states: “WeAre8 is not just another social media platform—it’s a revolution that empowers both artists and fans with social and economic agency. It’s a space designed for creative freedom, financial independence, and human-centered values. With 8Fest, music transcends mere sound; it becomes what it has always been—a catalyst for profound human connection.”
