The new prelude single 'Not Like That Anymore' is set to release this Friday.
South London artist Lola Young will launch her new album, 'I’m Only F**king Myself', on September 19th through Island/Day One.
Alongside the album announcement, Lola will present the new single ‘Not Like That Anymore’—described as an empowering anthem meant for standing up against the world—this Friday. The Ivor Novello Rising Star winner and BRIT Award-nominated artist collaborates with frequent partners Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (known for working with Doja Cat and SZA) on an album that delves into “self-sabotage, utilizing vices like sex and drugs as a means of escapism, which can quickly lead to nihilism.”
The album, which reflects Lola’s artistic growth, includes the recent bold track ‘One Thing’, which has entered the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart.
After making her debut at Coachella earlier this year, Lola supported Billie Eilish during her Hit Me Hard and Soft headline tour in Paris, and has an exciting lineup for a UK/European summer festival circuit, including her first appearance at Glastonbury next Friday. She will also return to North America for headline performances this November.
