Hetta Falzon has released her new song "Freckles."
The 20-year-old singer-songwriter grew up in Somerset, developing a passion for music early on. Last year, her track "Sobering" gained significant traction online, with her heartfelt honesty striking a chord with listeners.
After receiving an official release, she signed with Matt Maltese’s Last Recordings On Earth label and secured supporting roles for artists such as Billie Marten and Jacob Alon.
Now residing in Manchester and completing her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music, Hetta takes a break from her academic work to unveil something fresh.
"Freckles" is a delicate ballad that is refreshingly raw and sincere, telling the story of a situationship that, for all its imperfections, contributed something meaningful to her life.
With its melodic flair, "Freckles" holds a quality that hints at something extraordinary, far beyond her years.
Commenting on the track, she states: “I believe we all have someone in our lives who will always have an impact on us. For me, it’s my year nine situationship. This song is about that person—someone I will likely always make excuses for. No matter how much I move forward, when I see them, I feel like I am right back at the start.”
