clipping. has announced plans for ‘Dead Channel Sky Plus’.
The upcoming album is a 24-track reinterpretation of ‘Dead Channel Sky’, the band’s highly-praised album released earlier this year.
In Clash's 9/10 review, writer Tom Morgan concluded:
In a world where the internet and technology are controlled by a shrinking number of malicious and often downright inept entities, ‘Dead Channel Sky’ presents a vision of an alternative present, where the excitement of technology feels as fresh as it did before big tech took over. On a less intellectual note, it is simply a masterclass in vibrant, distinctive, and breathtaking hip-hop, where layers of complexity never obstruct its enjoyable, vivid storytelling. Put on your headphones, connect, and immerse yourself in clipping.'s meticulously crafted cyber realm.
Due for release on September 19th, the project takes its title from the opening line of William Gibson’s iconic science fiction novel Neuromancer, and this revamped version provides new perspectives on the group’s artistry.
An updated version of ‘Night Of Heaven’ featuring Counterfeit Madison and Kid Koala is now available.
Tune in now.
Catch clipping. live at London’s KOKO on September 21st; Project House in Leeds on September 23rd; and The Garage in Glasgow on September 24th.
